Harder's departure comes after he reportedly told The Hollywood Reporter that he was going to file a defamation lawsuit against The New York Times after its original report on the allegations against Weinstein.
ADVERTISEMENTEarlier this month, attorney Lisa Bloom said she was stepping down as an adviser to Weinstein.
"My understanding is that Mr. Weinstein and his board are moving toward an agreement."
Another Weinstein adviser, Lanny Davis, is also no longer representing the entertainment executive.
Weinstein was expelled from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in the wake of the allegations and multiple Democrats who had received donations from Weinstein have vowed to give the money to charity.
